First, you’ll need to gather your supplies. You’ll need Vinyl, weeding tools, and transfer tape. You can find all of these supplies at your local craft store or online. Once you have your supplies, it’s time to get started!

1. Start by loading your vinyl onto your cutting mat. Make sure that the vinyl is lined up straight on the mat so that it will cut evenly.

2. Next, select the “ Vinyl ” setting on your Cricut machine. If you’re not sure which setting to use, consult your Cricut manual for more information.

3. Now it’s time to actually start cutting! Press the “Cut” button on your Cricut machine and let it do its thing.

4. When the cutting is finished, carefully remove the vinyl from the mat. If there are any pieces of vinyl that did not get cut all the way through, use a weeding tool to remove them.

5. Now it’s time to transfer the vinyl onto whatever surface you want! Place a piece of transfer tape over top of the vinyl design and press down firmly so that it sticks well. Then carefully peel away the backing paper from the transfer tape so that only the sticky part remains attached to the design.

Finally, position the design on your surface and press down firmly so that it sticks in place. Gently peel away the transfer tape and voila! You now know how to cut and apply vinyl like a pro!
